Canada Royal Milk plant, set to commence production in September, will produce infant formula powder with a capacity to meet 9x Canada's demand and 60% of North America's. The $300M facility in Kingston uses state-of-the-art technology from Europe, China, and the US and employs around 220 workers. Construction faced delays due to COVID-19 and other issues, but the project was first announced in 2016 with the goal of producing powdered infant formula.
