17 Aug, Wallembelle: Two murdered in robbery of mobile money shop; four robbers on motorbikes, police investigating.

On August 17, in Wallembelle, Sissala East municipality, Upper West region, two people were murdered in a robbery attack on a mobile money shop. Four robbers on two motorbikes arrived, fired sporadically, and fled after looting the shop. The victims, Tordia Munkailu and Fuseini Benorwuo, were fatally shot when they tried to raise an alarm and pursue the robbers. Authorities are investigating the case.
