AAC candidate Yunusa Muhammad wins Papa Ward councillorship election in Bauchi state with 1,156 votes.
African Action Congress (AAC) candidate, Yunusa Muhammad, won the councillorship election in Papa Ward, Darazo LGA of Bauchi state, receiving 1,156 votes. Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) candidate Ashiru Mohammad Papa got 1,053 votes and All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate Idris Mohammad had 290 votes. The elections in Bauchi, Dass, and Tafawa Balewa LGAs were mostly peaceful, with adequate security presence and orderly queues.
