42-year-old suspect arrested for homicide in Madison's east side; found deceased female at 1600 block of Schmedeman Ave, suspect reported injurying her after an argument. This is the third homicide in Madison this year. The suspect, in a domestic relationship with the victim, is fully cooperating with the investigation. Madison PD is restructuring its Investigative Services Unit to create a Family Justice Unit focused on domestic violence cases.
