23-year-old Samuel Sharpe from Harpswell, Maine died in a boating accident after falling into the water and being struck by his boat's propeller. The incident occurred on Friday evening near South Harpswell, and despite efforts from witnesses and first responders, Sharpe did not survive. The boat was secured by the U.S. Coast Guard and brought ashore by Harpswell Harbormaster. Sharpe's body will be examined by the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner.
