48-year-old homeless man, Anthony Tapia, died from injuries sustained in a hit-and-run incident involving a dark-colored SUV on August 3 in Long Beach. The suspect's vehicle was last seen heading westbound after striking Tapia, who was not in a marked crosswalk. The Long Beach Police Department is investigating and asks anyone with information to contact detectives or Crime Stoppers anonymously.
