12-year-old grandson of Wagoner County couple still under DHS custody after 7 years, despite advocacy from grandparents regarding abuse claims.
Wagoner County couple, Bill and Lisa Woolley, have been advocating for the return of their 12-year-old grandson, under DHS custody for seven years, after he was removed from their home in 2018 following the death of his 14-month-old brother. The couple, who were initially charged with murder and child abuse but had the charges dropped, claim their grandson is being abused in the home where he currently resides. They have hired experts, private investigators, and launched billboards and TV commercials to raise awareness. DHS states it's unable to discuss specifics due to confidentiality laws. The case remains under investigation with child safety a top priority.
