55-year-old James Owen and 52-year-old Ellen Rea were sentenced to eight and two years in prison, respectively, for sexually assaulting an 18-year-old at their Salisbury home. The couple groomed the teenager over several weeks, plied her with alcohol, and sexually assaulted her. They were convicted of rape, sexual assault, and conspiracy to commit sexual assault. Wiltshire Police commended the victim for her bravery in working with authorities.
