34-year-old Angels third baseman Anthony Rendon, who's played in only 41 games this season due to injuries, was removed from the 4th inning against the Atlanta Braves due to a bruised right elbow. This marks another setback for Rendon in his injury-ridden season. Since signing a $245 million contract, Rendon has not played more than 58 games in any of his five seasons with the Angels.
