MTA is adding subway and Long Island Rail Road service for US Open attendees in Queens, NY. With nearly 1 million fans expected, the MTA aims to reduce traffic and parking issues by encouraging public transportation use. Extra trains and buses will be provided, including the 7 line and Long Island Rail Road. For the last two days of Fan Week, there will be no direct 7 train between Manhattan and Queens due to track replacement, with alternative routes available.
