Manitoba gov't invests $986k in Tina Fontaine's memory, supporting at-risk youth with $400k for public health nursing & mental wellness at Tina's Safe Haven, a 24-hour drop-in center for youth aged 13-24. An additional $586k in provincial funding covers ongoing costs & new programming. The funds are part of the government's commitment to protect & empower Indigenous women, girls, and two-spirit peoples.
