Former J&K minister Taj Mohiuddin rejoining Indian National Congress after resigning from Ghulam Nabi Azad's DPAP.
Taj Mohiuddin, a senior leader and former Jammu and Kashmir minister, announced on August 17th plans to rejoin the Indian National Congress after resigning from Ghulam Nabi Azad's Democratic Progressive Azad Party (DPAP).
Mohiuddin had supported Azad when he left the Congress and formed the DPAP but decided to return after his workers urged him to rejoin the Congress.
This announcement comes a day after the Election Commission of India announced the schedule for assembly polls in Jammu and Kashmir.
