Flying Nickel Mining Corp. acquired 100% of Nevada Vanadium Mining Corp.'s shares, causing Nevada Vanadium to become a wholly-owned subsidiary of Flying Nickel. The merger, announced on August 16, 2024, unites the exploration-stage mining companies, each focused on nickel sulphide and vanadium projects in Canada and the U.S. The merger enables them to more efficiently advance their respective projects, with Flying Nickel's board of directors now including four members led by CEO John Lee, while Nevada Vanadium's board has one member, Greg Hall.
