Alex David, a father from Devizes, Wiltshire, is swimming 21.5 miles across the English Channel for Julia's House Children's Hospice and the Devizes Opportunity Centre. The challenging swim aims to raise funds for Julia's House, one of the UK's lowest-funded hospices, facing a £1m budget shortfall this year.
