2 ex-Harare City Council officials sentenced to 10 years for selling commercial stands on leased land.

2 ex-Harare City Council officials, Stanley Ndemera (ex-acting finance director) and Emmanuel Mutambirwa (former valuer and estates manager), were sentenced to 10 years in prison each for criminal abuse of office. They sold commercial stands on leased land to Old Hararians Sports Club, involving firms such as Optel Enterprises, Silver Harbour Enterprises, and Leanforth Investment. Zimbabwe Anti-Corruption Commission (ZACC) uncovered their involvement, leading to their arrest.
