Equatorial Guinea's President appoints Manuel Osa Nsue Nsua as new PM after previous administration's resignation.

Equatorial Guinea's President, Teodoro Obiang Nguema Mbasogo, appointed Manuel Osa Nsue Nsua as new Prime Minister following the resignation of previous PM Manuela Roka Botey and her administration due to ineffectiveness in addressing economic, social, and corruption issues. Nsue Nsua, former National Bank of Equatorial Guinea director, will oversee administrative coordination. President Obiang, who has ruled the oil-rich African nation for 44 years, faced criticism from the UN and NGOs for repressing dissent.
