China, Laos, Myanmar, and Thailand have agreed to boost joint efforts in combating transnational crimes, including online gambling, telecom fraud, drug trafficking, and human trafficking. During an informal discussion among foreign ministers, China's Foreign Minister Wang Yi called for stronger border control measures and intelligence sharing between the nations. The countries have already made progress with over 50,000 arrests related to gambling-related fraud since the joint efforts began a year ago.
