30-year-old UK-based Ph.D. students, Jerry O'Shea and Lucie Davidson, moved to Italy to improve their quality of life, work remotely, and operate an olive farm.

UK-based millennial couple, Jerry O'Shea (30) and Lucie Davidson (27), both Ph.D. students, chose to move to Italy for a better quality of life, lower living costs, and warmer weather. They purchased a Marche region farm for $154k, and currently work seven days a week, tutoring remotely and managing their farm, with plans to expand their income mainly from the farm and olive grove tours for tourists.
