49-year-old Smithdale, MS resident Robert Berryhill III died in a single-vehicle crash on US-84 in Adams County on August 15. Berryhill's 2025 Western Star truck veered off the road and struck a creek embankment. The Mississippi Highway Patrol is currently investigating the cause of the crash.
