63-year-old Juan Antonio Avalos, who fled to El Salvador in 2004, has been extradited and charged with 2nd-degree murder in connection with his wife's death in Toronto 20 years ago. Rosaura Tolentino Ramos, 26, was found with stab wounds in their apartment on Aug 31, 2004. Avalos was extradited to Canada last week, after El Salvador's government held an extradition hearing and decided he should face charges.
