Union Sports Minister Mansukh Mandaviya attended a send-off event for the Indian Paralympic team heading to Paris 2024, marking India's largest-ever contingent of 84 athletes competing in 12 sports. The government aims for a minimum of 25 medals, an improvement from the 19 medals secured at the Tokyo Paralympics. The Paralympic Committee of India and Sports Authority of India hosted a send-off event with a special anthem and a commemorative book titled "Breaking the Barriers."
