A South Carolina woman's family has been awarded a $30m settlement after she was killed by a falling, 70-year-old utility pole. Dominion Energy and Comporium, the companies responsible for the pole, signed off on the agreement, resolving a wrongful death lawsuit brought by Jeunelle Robinson's family. The family plans to use some of the settlement money to create the "Jeunelle Robinson Teacher's Hope Fund", providing school supplies and other items to teachers across the country.
