3rd US Circuit Court of Appeals dismisses Monsanto's cancer warning claim against Bayer, citing FIFRA.

3rd US Circuit Court of Appeals has ruled in favor of Bayer, dismissing a claim against its subsidiary Monsanto by a Pennsylvania landscaper. The court ruled that federal law protects Bayer, citing the Federal Insecticide, Fungicide, and Rodenticide Act (FIFRA) mandates nationwide uniformity in pesticide labeling, preventing states from adding warning labels.
