Pennsylvania has selected 10 electric vehicle projects for additional funding under federal National Electric Vehicle Infrastructure (NEVI) Round 1B, receiving $7.1 million from the Shapiro Administration. This is part of the $171.5 million PennDOT will receive and distribute for EV charging infrastructure over five years via the federal Bipartisan Infrastructure Law. The funding will support various aspects of charging sites, including planning, design, construction, operation, and maintenance, as part of a commitment to combating climate change and providing cleaner, safer transportation options.
