Nigeria's National Judicial Council (NJC) formed four panels to investigate 27 high court judges for alleged misconduct following the review of 22 petitions against them. Justice O.M. Olagunju received a letter of advice for uncouth language towards the Chief Justice of Nigeria. The remaining 18 petitions were dismissed. Meanwhile, five judges were placed on a pre-sanction watch list for poor performance and may face sanctions.
