The New York Giants have signed Jakob Johnson, a 29-year-old German-born versatile tight end/fullback. Johnson, who entered the NFL via the International Player Pathway Program, has played in 67 games with 34 starts, catching 19 of 24 pass targets for 105 yards and one touchdown. The Giants waived/injured tight end Tyree Jackson on Friday.
