LOFT launches investigation into Oklahoma State Department of Education's spending at legislative request.

The Legislative Office of Fiscal Transparency (LOFT) is launching an investigation into the Oklahoma State Department of Education's (OSDE) spending, following concerns raised by both legislators and citizens. The investigation, initiated by Rep. Kevin Wallace and approved by Speaker Charles McCall, aims to ensure transparency and proper use of funds allocated by the legislature. Findings will be shared with the public and Attorney General Gentner Drummond.
