Idahoans United for Women and Families has submitted four initiative proposals aimed at restoring abortion access in Idaho, which currently has a near-total ban on the procedure. The group, which includes residents and medical professionals, is working to select one proposal for approval before gathering signatures. The chosen proposal will be presented to the secretary of state and attorney general before a final decision is made on the best course of action. The successful passage of the measure would require a simple majority of voters in the 2026 midterm election.
