Guyana improved its ICAO Safety Audit score to 66.36%, surpassing regional averages.

Guyana scored 66.36% in the recent International Civil Aviation Organisation (ICAO) Safety Audit, outperforming its 2007 audit and the last four audits in the South American region. The audit assessed legislation, operations, aircraft safety, and more, with Guyana Civil Aviation Authority (GCAA) and privately-owned airlines being evaluated. The final results with analysis will be shared post-audit completion.
