BSA Motorcycles has launched the Gold Star 650, aiming to compete with Royal Enfield's Interceptor 650 in the Indian market. Priced between Rs 3 lakh and Rs 3.35 lakh, the Gold Star 650 is powered by a 652 cc liquid-cooled engine producing 45 bhp, while the Interceptor 650 has a 648 cc air-cooled engine producing 47 bhp. Both motorcycles feature a vintage aesthetic, dual-channel ABS, and 18-inch tyres. The BSA Gold Star 650 offers additional features like a 12-volt socket and USB port. Both motorcycles are priced around the same range, with the choice between them depending on personal preferences and brand legacy.
