Bangladesh's Summit LNG plans to resume FSRU operations in September after completing repairs and reconnecting work.

Bangladesh's Summit LNG plans to resume operations of its damaged floating storage and regasification unit (FSRU) in September, after completing repositioning and reconnecting work by the end of August. The FSRU, serving as a floating LNG import terminal, was halted following damage from Cyclone Remal in May. Repairs sent the FSRU to Singapore, but difficulties in reconnecting the disconnectable turret mooring (DTM) plug are expected to be resolved by the end of August, with ship-to-ship transfer operations anticipated in September.
