Tamil Nadu CM M.K. Stalin announces 1,000 subsidized pharmacies by 2025 and business loans for military personnel, alongside a landslide impact study.

Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K. Stalin announced the 'Mudhalvar Marundhagam' (Chief Minister's Pharmacy) scheme on Independence Day, offering 1,000 subsidized pharmacies in the state by January 14, 2025. The 'Mudhalvarin Kaakkum Karangal' program also provides loans up to ₹1 crore with 30% capital and interest subsidy for military personnel to start businesses. In addition, Stalin will conduct a study on potential impacts of heavy rains in hilly areas, following Wayanad landslides.
