Pakistan's Deputy Superintendent of Adiala Jail, Muhammad Akram, has been arrested on charges of aiding PTI founder Imran Khan, who was imprisoned, by secretly conveying his messages. Akram was removed from his post in June and is expected to face departmental action after the investigation's completion. Imran Khan, currently in prison facing multiple charges, accused the Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI) of interfering in civilian affairs and having a presence in Adiala Jail.
