Michigan Attorney General Dana Nessel launched Operation Survivor Justice, a partnership with the U.S. Marshals Service and local prosecutors, to apprehend and return to Michigan fugitive offenders with outstanding sexual assault warrants. Funded by a $1 million grant, the initiative targets approximately 800 suspects who fled jurisdiction, aiming to bring them to trial and provide justice for victims.
