Metlink, NZ's public transport provider, has seen increased passenger satisfaction in reliability, frequency, and capacity, based on an annual independent survey. Ride comfort, vehicle accessibility, and customer service scores also remained high. However, satisfaction with value for money fell by 19% due to fare increases and the end of subsidies. Metlink plans to enhance Wairarapa rail services and provide better information on delays and disruptions.
