A Smith County firefighter in Lindale, Texas, sustained minor leg burns while battling a shed fire on Wednesday night. Responding to a report of a shed fire threatening nearby structures on County Road 468, the firefighter was treated at a local hospital and is expected to make a full recovery. Lindale Engine 1 and Command 1, along with SCESD2, quickly brought the fire under control.
