Former NHL all-star Ryan Getzlaf joins NHL Department of Player Safety, led by George Parros.
Former NHL all-star Ryan Getzlaf, who played 17 seasons with the Anaheim Ducks, has been appointed to join the NHL Department of Player Safety, announced by George Parros, NHL senior vice-president of player safety. Getzlaf, an Olympic gold medalist and Stanley Cup winner, will bring his on-ice accomplishments and leadership skills to the role. Since retiring in 2023, he has been serving as the Ducks' player development coordinator.
