22-year-old Dutch & 23-year-old Australian women struck by lightning at Horseshoon Bend, Glen Canyon National Recreation Area, Arizona, during a storm. Both women were airlifted to a Utah hospital for treatment; their current conditions are unknown. National Park Service advises visitors to seek shelter during thunderstorms, especially during monsoon season (mid-June to September).
