University of Montana begins construction on its first new residence hall in 30 years, accommodating 600 students by 2027.

The University of Montana has started construction on its first new residence hall in 30 years, following three years of increasing enrollment. The $70 million project, scheduled for completion by fall 2027, will include modern amenities and accommodate 600 students. The new 171,000-square-foot facility will address the housing crunch caused by enrollment growth and aim to maintain a "net-zero" impact on campus parking by adding new spots.
