University of California Riverside researchers developed an air-powered computer detecting issues in pneumatic systems, such as IPC devices that prevent blood clots. The device, smaller than a matchbox, replaces electronic sensors and operates in high humidity or temperature environments. It could also enable air-powered robots in hazardous tasks, like working in grain silos.
