2024 Paris Olympic women's skeet finalist Amber Rutter calls for apology and better judging due to disputed shot decision.

British Olympic shooter Amber Rutter has called for an apology and improved judging after a contentious decision cost her a chance at Olympic gold in the women's skeet final at the Paris Games. Rutter, who tied with Chile's Francisca Crovetto Chadid after three rounds, was deemed to have missed a shot despite television replays suggesting otherwise. Rutter believes VAR technology, already in use in other ISSF competitions, could ensure a fair playing field for all athletes.
