70+ man assaulted, robbed of bike, pushed into canal in Leigh, Greater Manchester.
70+ man assaulted, robbed of bike, pushed into Bridgewater Canal in Leigh, Greater Manchester. Elderly victim suffered serious head injuries and was hospitalized, later recovering at home. Police released CCTV image of a suspect and are urging anyone with information to come forward. Victim's bike not recovered, police released image of it in hopes of its return.
