26-year-old Christian Fernandez from Abernathy, Texas, died in a car accident on I-27 in north Lubbock County on Sunday. Fernandez's pickup struck a guardrail, traveled down a concrete embankment, and overturned before coming to rest in the median. The Texas Department of Public Safety is investigating factors contributing to the crash.
