Singapore's non-oil domestic exports (NODX) declined 6.4% year-on-year in Q2 2021, with non-electronic products experiencing a 9.2% decrease, due in part to contracting pharmaceutical and non-monetary gold exports. Meanwhile, electronic product exports grew 3.8% in Q2. Enterprise Singapore adjusted the NODX growth forecast to 4-5% for the year, down from the earlier 4-6% range. Singapore's total merchandise trade increased 10.1% year-on-year in Q2, driven by both oil and non-oil trade.
