A fatal accident occurred on Interstate 65 in Indianapolis, where a pedestrian was struck and killed by a driver on Monday morning. The man was attempting to cross the interstate when he was hit by a Kia SUV. The driver remained on the scene and submitted to a blood draw; neither alcohol nor drugs are expected to be a factor. The incident remains under investigation.
