Marinette County Sheriff's Office rescued three lost tubers on the Peshtigo River, with a drone team playing a crucial role. On August 11, deputies received a report about three overturned tubers and located one in a wooded area. The drone team quickly found and rescued the remaining two using the drone's spotlight feature. The drone and spotlight were purchased with donations from Faith Lutheran Church in Marinette.
