India's L&T Semiconductor Technologies, a subsidiary of Larsen & Toubro, plans to sign $150M/year contracts with six automobile firms by Sep, marking its first clientele, says CEO Sandeep Kumar. The chip-design firm, established in Nov 2023 with a $100M investment, presently does not generate revenue. It aims to build a manufacturing facility & reach $1B in annual revenue within 7 years.
