LA Superior Court dismisses lawsuit against Dodger Stadium Gondola project, a $500m plan to build a mass transit connection ahead of 2028 Olympics.

Los Angeles Superior Court Judge dismissed a lawsuit against the zero-emission Dodger Stadium Gondola project, supporting a $500m plan to build a mass transit connection linking Dodger Stadium to Union Station ahead of the 2028 Olympics. The gondola aims to reduce traffic by 3,000 cars during game days. Despite receiving support from 72% of LA County residents, the project faces political hurdles including approval from Caltrans, the State Park and Recreation Commission, and the LA City Council, which ordered a lengthy review. If completed, the zero-emission gondola project will provide a permanent mass transit connection between Dodger Stadium and the broader LA transit system, with a goal of reducing greenhouse gas emissions by over 150,000 metric tons.
