Kenya's National Highways Authority (KeNHA) plans to introduce tolls on six major highways, including the Thika Superhighway and Nairobi Southern Bypass, to raise funds for road development. The tolling policy is being developed through public participation, but some critics argue that existing taxes should be sufficient for maintaining roads. Currently, Nairobi Expressway is the only tolled road in Kenya.
