Inmate William Best, convicted of second-degree murder and robbery, died on August 10th at Dorchester Penitentiary in Nova Scotia. Serving an indeterminate sentence since June 2005, Best was convicted for the stabbing death of John Wylie during a home invasion. The Correctional Service of Canada has initiated an investigation into Best's death, as they do in all cases involving inmate deaths.
